“Enjoying Learning Together” is the school motto for The Wigmore School Academy Trust.
The Trust embraces the philosophy of all-through education in the three Wigmore establishments:
Wigmore Nursery (3-4), Wigmore Primary (4-11) and Wigmore High (11-16).
A spokesman for the school said: “We work collaboratively to provide unique, quality education for children in North Herefordshire.
“The three schools share the same site in the village of Wigmore, 15 miles north of Hereford and five miles from Ludlow.
“Set in a beautiful part of England, the schools are in easy reach of the magnificent countryside of Herefordshire, Shropshire and mid Wales.
Wigmore High School is rated as “outstanding” by Ofsted and has traditionally been over-subscribed for admissions into Year 7.
“We are a successful school that prides itself on ensuring every child is happy, healthy and successful.
With strong pastoral care, the school strives to ensure that all pupils are prepared for life after school and achieve their academic potential.
“The “Wigmore Way” is our set of core values that we promote across the Trust.
These values govern how we operate within our school, underpin our daily experiences and prepare our young people for life outside of Wigmore.
Wigmore School Academy Trust works closely with other neighbouring schools, including those in the local cluster, (we are working closely with Leintwardine Primary from September 2017) and has developed good links with a wider network of schools involved in the Teaching School initiative.
“We will be holding our open day and open evening on Tuesday, September 26 and look forward to welcoming you.”
